Dan Kamau and Frank Mutura visited Mangu High School where one of the Diaspora University Town (DUT) founders, the late Prof. Raphael Njoroge was principal. During the visit they were welcomed by Peter Muna the Deputy Principal. They invited teachers to participate in the DUT job creation and housing development plan. Through check-off loans available to teachers and housing mortgages from the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company (KMRC) a teacher can become a founder of Diaspora University and Town through developing at least one of the DUT 3,500 townhouses. A teacher who becomes a DUT Townhouse developer using a DUT THIDA can earn about a million shillings from every townhouse they develop.

In the Voi region they have so far visited and invited teachers from: Voi Secondary, Mwangeka Secondary, Kaloleni Secondary, Kalambe Primary & Junior Secondary, Mwamunga Primary & Junior Secondary, Precious Secondary, Kalela Primary & Junior Secondary, Gimba Primary & Junior Secondary, Kiritai Primary & Junior Secondary, Mwakigali Primary & Junior Secondary. They plan to cover all schools in Voi.
In Mwatate region they have visited and invited teachers from Mwatunge Primary & Junior Secondary, Marevenyi Primary & Junior Secondary, Mzwanyenyi Primary & Junior Secondary. They look to cover all schools in the region before the end of September 2026.
In Wundanyi through the initiative of Former Chief Gideon Mwasingo they have visited and invited teachers from Mbauro Primary & Junior Secondary, Mlawa Primary % Junior Secondary, Dr Aggery High School, and Mwagenka Girls Secondary School. Gideon plans to visit all the schools in the Wundanyi region.
Dan has also extended invitations to schools in Kiambu County: Kanunga High School, St Joseph High School, Matuguta Secondary, Githiga High School, Kenyatta University Primary & Junior Secondary, Githiga Primary & Junior secondary, Njenga Karume Primary & Junior High, Cianda Secondary School and Gikanga Kagece Secondary.
The DUT team's goal is to cover as many schools as possible and recruit about 1,000 teachers (0.25%) from the 400,000 teachers employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to become founders of Diaspora University and Diaspora University Town. The 1,000 teachers will use the DUT townhouse development system (THIDA) and Bank products to join DUT as developers of at least one of the 2,200 townhouses.

A Teacher (Government Employee) can use the DUT system and available banking products to develop a DUT Townhouse. This illustration shows how a teacher can apply Ksh 11,632 a month of their pay to earn Ksh 1 million by becoming a DUT townhouse developer. On completion of the townhouse the buyer will be one of those taking up one of the 15,000 DUT jobs created.

For every Kenyan family to achieve good housing over 20 million formal jobs need to be created and 7 million housing units developed in the next 10 years (by 2035), as Kenya's population grows to 65 million. The DUT system and its developers will create as many jobs as possible and develop as many houses as possible. For example a developer who sells a DUT townhouse unit and achieves Ksh 1.3 million will have the opportunity to build more housing units and grow their wealth using the DUT job creation and housing development system.
